How does Carriere appliance work?
The Carriere Motion Appliance attaches to the canine tooth and first molar on each side of the mouth on the outside of the teeth. The appliance puts light pressure on the molars and the canine teeth, moving them together at the same time. This pressure helps to correct a misaligned bite in the back teeth.
What is Carriere appliance?
The Carriere Appliance is a small correction appliance which is fitted to the side of your teeth. This appliance helps with the preliminary movement of your teeth, setting them up to receive more complex orthodontic treatment with appliances such as Invisalign aligners or traditional metal braces.

With the Carriere Motion appliance you are able to brush like normal. Floss will have to be threaded through the Carriere to reach those teeth. To clean your lower retainer, use a separate tooth brush and antibacterial hand soap, and brush it thoroughly two times per day (when it is out of your mouth).
